These SeaStar are precision built with heavy-duty bearings, not bushings, are easily installed and easily maintained. All metal construction with no corrosive materials exposed to the harsh marine environment. In addition to easy installation, the SeaStar is easy to fill and purge (less than 30 minutes). Complete kit includes a SeaStar I helm, front mount outboard cylinder, O/B motor hose kit, two bottles of hydraulic oil and clear, easy-to-follow instructions. Field replaceable helm and cylinder shaft seals. Standard 3/4'' tapered shaft. Select a hose kit length that most closely matches the running distance from your helm location to outboard motor.
